What it feels like

  • Zero flex. Every angle adjustable
  • A brake you can stand on. Set it as firm as you like
  • 12 Nm: no clipping in normal use

Pros / cons

Pros Cons
Rig and pedals are a 10-year purchase Industrial look
Everything bolts on later: shifter, shakers, motion Heavy, long assembly
Nothing is thrown away at Tier 4 Many small extras: brackets, T-nuts, slider, bolts
Popular rigs are often back-ordered

Next upgrade

  • Display: triples or VR (Tier 4)
  • Not more torque

Used-market alternative

Look for Aluminum profile rigs: the best used buy in the hobby. They barely wear and cost a lot to ship, so local pickup is cheap
Also Moza R12 / R16, Simagic Alpha, Fanatec ClubSport DD, Heusinkveld Sprint pedals
Check 40-series profile (30-series is flimsy), all brackets and T-nuts, pedal controller box included
Avoid Wood or PVC rigs priced like aluminum, pedals missing elastomers
